Ending Ageism, Program March 8

MargaretMargaret Morganroth Gullette, Resident Scholar at the Women’s Studies Research Center at Brandeis University, will speak on her book, Ending Ageism, at the Brookline Public Library, 361 Washington Street, on Thursday, March 8.  Refreshments will be served from 6 to 6:30 pm with the program and discussion 6:30 to 7:30 pm.  Gullette believes that a major obstacle to aging well is ageism; she asks people to move from silence about their experiences to justified resistance.  This BrooklineCAN  program is free of charge; please call 617-730-2770 to register.
