What’s Your Plan for Driving Retirement? Part 2

The Brookline/Newton TRIPPS program offers individual support to seniors who are exploring alternatives to driving. The second in a two-part panel discussion series will be presented on Thursday, June 16 from 6-8 pm at the Brookline Senior Center. On the panel will be seniors from our community who already get around town without driving. Some take the T, some use para-transit, some love the buses, some take taxis, some use ride-hailing apps, and others walk or cycle. The panelists will describe their own experiences; discuss the drawbacks and benefits of using various modes of transportation, and talk about overcoming some of the barriers that can keep some seniors from exploring and using non-driving options. Light refreshments will be available. For help with transportation to and from this event, please call 617-730-2644. Both events are free and open to the public.
