On April 14, 2016 Brookline Interactive Group (BIG) aired Episode 6 in a series of Age-Friendly Cities TV (AFC-TV) programs on local Brookline channels. The program focused on TRIPPS, a new Brookline and Newton sponsored service supporting the life transition of retirement from driving. Program Director Kerri Ann Tester was an exciting guest. Kerri Ann is a driving force in organizing and delivering services essential to all who are or will be changing their modes of transportation to walking, cycling, ride hailing, taxis, public transportation, and other forms particularly aimed at older adults.
TRIPPS is available in the Brookline and Newton Senior Centers and via telephone, web site <www.trippsmass.org>, email and social media. Volunteers are needed as transit advisors, researchers, outreach reps, event planners and admin. Contact Kerri Ann at firstname.lastname@example.org or 617-730-2644.
