Age Friendly Cities TV–Brookline Library

On February 18, Brookline Interactive Group (BIG) aired Episode 5 in a series of Age Friendly Cities TV (AFC-TV) programs on local Brookline channels.  This program focused on the Brookline Public Libraries.  Guests were Director Sara Slymon and Assistant Director for Technology Hank Sway.   They noted new programs of special interest for seniors, the extensive Russian and Chinese collections, and the availability of large print books.  New at the libraries this year is the expansion of the web site to full multi-lingual support as part of the IT infrastructure upgrade.   All particulars and schedules are available on the library web site www.brooklinelibrary.org.  Proposed plans for the Coolidge Corner Branch are also available on line.   Check out the Brookline Age Friendly Cities TV programs on the BrooklineCAN web site and note references on the BrooklineCAN Twitter and Facebook accounts.
