Excursion to Edward M. Kennedy Institute

On Friday, February 26, the Brookline Recreation Department is conducting a group visit to the fascinating new Edward M. Kennedy Institute (EMKI) for the United States Senate, located on the UMass Boston campus.  EMKI is an interactive experience in US government dedicated to educating the public about the important role of the Senate, encouraging participatory democracy, invigorating civil discourse, and inspiring the next generation of citizens and leaders to engage in the civic life of their communities.  Fees are $18 for Brookline residents and $25 for non-residents.  Trip fee includes admission to the institute and transportation.
