Founded in 1964, the Brookline Art Center has provided a quality arts experience for the Brookline community at the former Fire Station #3, 86 Monmouth Street, since 1968. The Center holds classes in a variety of media for children from 18-months through adults of any age. Classes, which are 2-3 hours long, begin the second week of January and run once a week through March 15. Choose from oil painting, water colors, ceramics (pottery), jewelry making and metal smithing.
Drop in at the Center’s Snowflake Festival and Open House, an afternoon filled with artwork, activities and fun for all ages, on Saturday, January 9, from noon to 4:00 pm.
