Brookline’s Treasures—Hall’s Pond

In the heart of North Brookline, off of Amory Park near Beacon Street, Hall’s Pond Sanctuary is a wooded conservation land to be enjoyed by all.  The Sanctuary comprises a lush growth of trees, vines and bushes, which provide an excellent habitat and nesting grounds for a wide variety of birds and animal life rarely found in an urban setting.  Now that spring is here, the Friends group is sponsoring a Community Cleanup Day Sunday, April 26, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.  For more details, see:   http://friendsofhallspond.org/ or contact Frank Caro at 617-739-9228.
