Public Issues Book Discussion Group

The 4th Tuesday of every month from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, Tom Faulhaber challenges your thinking with a non-fiction book discussion group centered on public issues, history, current events and other topics. The April 23rd book is Strangers in Their Own Land: Anger and Mourning on the American Right by Arlie Hochschild. On May 28th the book is Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn. The Brookline Public Library Coolidge Corner branch will have copies of the books available several weeks ahead of each meeting. Discussions take place at the Brookline Senior Center.
