BrooklineCAN Annual Meeting

am1On September 13th BrooklineCAN will hold its 8th Annual Meeting, from 5-7 pm at the Senior Center. This year, we celebrate Brookline age-friendly businesses. Matt Weiss, host of the Age Friendly Cities TV show, will moderate a panel of age-friendly business leaders, including David Leschinsky of Eureka Puzzles, Kathy Tallman of Coolidge Corner Theater, Kyle Perzanoski of Brookline Bank, and Paul Saner of Economic Development Advisory Board.  They will discuss the ways that businesses are embracing the Age-Friendly Campaign, adopting features that make businesses attractive to older people and that are welcomed by customers of all ages. The campaign is co-sponsored by the Brookline Chamber of Commerce and the Town’s Economic Development Advisory Board.

Another feature of the annual meeting will be an information fair where attendees can learn more about age-friendly businesses and about opportunities for BrooklineCAN participation. Refreshments will be served. To register for this free event, email or call 617-730-2777.
